Yes, things are looking up…quite literally! We’ve got our eye on the 2nd floor as the steel decking and the cafeteria truss are set, and the concrete slab for the second floor is being poured today.

Thursday, the rain held off long enough for the first half of the second-floor concrete pour. This slab took 80 yards of “mud,” which is a term the guys use for wet concrete.
Today is a 91-yard pour to finish out the second floor slab.
