Roan Creek Fish Barrier

Scope
Kissner worked with Wright Water Engineers to assist with constructability, value engineering, and cost estimating. Kissner assisted at 30%, 60%, and 90% design completion, participating in regular process meetings.
This project on Roan Creek consisted of excavation; dewatering; installation of a concrete diversion structure (~120 CY); 30″ slide gate; 12″ parshall flume, fish screen, and railing. In addition, Kissner placed a total of 1,000 LF of 24″ HDPE pipe and bends. The diversion structure was backfilled and compacted, and boulders were placed to create wall crests. Final grading and seeding completed the project.
